Club sailing day on saturday with club open from 10.30 and Winter Season race from 2pm. Forecast looks better than last saturday&#8217;s. Sunday week 2 of the 4 week VLA Laser Transition coaching in the morning and VIODA Opti Winter coaching in the afternoon.<br \/><br \/>Well done to the Australian Sailing Team at the Tokyo Olympics. It was terrific to see the Gold medal performances of Matt Wearn in the Men&#8217;s Laser class, and Matthew Belcher and Will Ryan in the 470 class. Both have sailed in big regattas in Melbourne including for Matt the Australian and World Laser Championships at Sandringham in early 2020.<br \/><br \/>Also some promising results by Mara Stransky in Laser Radial with a first placing in the last race of the qualifying round and Jake Lilley with a third in Finn medal race.
