ASC\/APYC Spring Handicap Series race will start at 2:30pm. Briefing at APYC at 1:45pm. Club training boats are available for members to hire, enquiries on club sailing events please contact, <a href=\"mailto:sailing@albertsc.org.au\">sailing@albertsc.org.au<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following recent rain, the lake water level is now approaching its maximum!<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming Events:<\/p>\n<p>Our \u201cSocial Sailing Day\u201d has been scheduled for Sunday 16th November, 10:30am to 2:30pm. Members, relatives and friends all welcome, so spread the word. This is also a fantastic opportunity to come and visit for those considering joining our club. Club training boats are available subject to skipper experience level and weather conditions, with some experienced members on hand to skipper boats if required.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>If the weather conditions for this day look unsuitable we will update via the Facebook page.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Notices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Australian Grand Prix Corporation are replacing the southern pontoon blocks with lower profile blocks for the temporary bridge.\u00a0Works are scheduled in the \u201cnarrows\u201d section of the Lake\u00a0from 29 October 2025 to 12 November 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There will also be works on the Pit Building surrounds from 10 November to 19 December. They will be working until 10pm on weekdays and 3:30pm on Saturdays. Please be mindful as this could result in traffic delays around Aughtie Drive.<\/li>\n<li>We have been informed that Parks Victoria is aware there have been several bird deaths in recent weeks around Albert Park Lake. Parks Victoria Staff are patrolling the park daily to monitor for any unwell or dead wildlife.
