\n<\/span>Sailing will be in the northern half of the lake with the two bridges for the Grand Prix now across the lake in the narrows.<\/p>\n
We will also be sailing with partially raised centreboards whilst we continue to wait for further rain!<\/p>\n

- On Saturday 14th of February, the annual \u201cTop of the Bay Regatta\u201d was held at Altona Yacht Club in perfect 12 to 15 knot southerly winds. The ASC\/APYC combined team finished a close 4th of the 5 competing club teams, with Port Melbourne Yacht Club winning overall. ASC member Paul finished 2nd on adjusted yardstick results in a 76 boat fleet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Details regarding access to the club and sailing on the lake from Tuesday 24\/02 to Monday 16\/03 was emailed to members on 13\/02. Between 24\/02 – 01\/03 and 10\/03 – 16\/03 there will only be pedestrian access to the sailing precinct via the pathway from the Grand Prix gate off the Albert Road service road at the end of Moray Street.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- ASC\/APYC short races are scheduled for Saturday 28\/02 and 14\/03 (Subject to lake water levels). If you plan to sail on any of the days within the extended Grand Prix race period you may want to consider leaving more gear at the club to reduce what is needed to be carried. If it is essential to have access to remove or return a boat on one or both of these dates, send an email with details to Rod via sailing@albertsc.org.au<\/a> at least 5 days before.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
