Thursday Snippets, 5 April

Our next ASC sailing day is on Saturday 7th April with Summer Series 6 club race at 2pm. This is the start time for Saturday club races in Autumn and Spring following the change back to AEST in Victoria. Also on Saturday a number of our Sabre class sailors will be sailing in the annual Victorian Sabre Association event at Mordialloc.

Over Easter three ASC members sailed in the Victorian Impulse class championships at Lake Boga. Paul Farrell finished 5th and Steve Dunn 8th overall in a fleet of 25 Impulses. This week, Wednesday to Friday we have had another successful ASC school holiday program with 15 juniors sailing in club Ozi Optis, including 4 boats loaned from our neighbours at APYC.
