Thursday Snippets, 20 June

On saturday 22nd June Albert Sailing Club will be open from 9.30am with a range of options for sailing on Albert Park Lake. There are two short races scheduled from 2pm as part of the ASC-APYC challenge series. There are junior training programs am and pm, and casual sailing all day. Visitors welcome to sail with us am or pm. The Lake water level has come up ‘a bit’ further this last week, but still around what it was in early March. Sailing is still with some centreboard up and aquatic weed areas to be negotiated. Launching from the jetty in front of the club or the ramp recommended. Most of the club’s single handed and double handed training boats will be available for use by club members.

No need to register for this program. In the afternoon there is a junior Green Fleet program with a Boatshed Instructor. Sail your own boat or hire an ASC International Optimist or plastic Ozi Opti.boats.
