Thursday Snippets, 10 June

There has been an easing of some Goverment COVID restrictions for Greater  Melbourne from midnight on Thursday 10th of June, with restrictions still tight around community sport.  Given the restrictions and our club program what does this mean for sailing on Albert Park Lake and Albert Sailing Club?

  * You can go sailing on Albert Park Lake if you live within 25 kms of the club.
*   There are no organised activities at Albert Sailing Club on the long weekend or during the coming week. The exception is the SEDA educational group midweek.

* There are no duty personnel assigned over the long weekend to provide access to the boatyard.
* There will be a few people down 10.30 to 11ish on saturday for anyone without a club  key who wants to move their boat out of the yard. No-one rostered to be there if take boat out and want to return it.
* Club members with a club key can access the club through the front doors to gain access to their boat in the  boatyard. If you move your boat from the boatyard lock all gates behind you.
* Each person entering the club foyer and/or boatyard is required to sign in using the club QR code on the foyer window or via the manual register
*  You may do maintenance or repairs on your boat in the boatyard if you have a club key.
*  The upstairs clubrooms and changerooms need to remain closed. Club toilets are accessible.

*  Public gatherings of up to 10 people outdoors, including in boat rigging areas, with social distancing of 1.5 metres between people.
*  Masks to be worn at all times, unless eating or drinking or strenuous exercise
*  Wash hands and use hand sanitiser. Wipe down shared surfaces touched such as door handles, locks, and wash basin taps.
*  If you do intend to sail, please change at home.
