Saturday 5th February there is a regular ASC sailing day with Summer Series club race at 2.30, and club open from 10.30. Come at or just before midday for an informal Commodore’s Update and Q&A on current and upcoming ASC issues and activities, in the clubrooms from 12 noon for 30 to 45 minutes.
Upcoming ———– Friday 11th February there will be Twilight Sailing and a catered BBQ on club decking and in club rooms. The successful junior ASC Quest Stonehaven Cup team and their families will be attending with a presentation of the historic and impressive Stonehaven Cup regatta perpetual trophies. Come and sail own boat or club training boats for members from 4.30. If sailing or not, come for the BBQ, chat and and the Stonehaven Cup win celebrations, with food from 6.30. If coming email commodore@albertsc.org.au with numbers for catering.
Saturday 12th February Top of the Bay Interclub Regatta event 2pm at Altona Yacht Club with Notice of Race and Entry Form on https://www.altonayachtclub.org.au/…/top-of-the-bay…/ No programmed sailing at ASC or APYC that weekend.
Saturday 26th February 150 years of APYC and sailing on Albert Park Lake Opening Day celebrations. Participate in the Sail Past at around 2pm, with option to stay on for the Lady’s Bracelet Trophy Race.
Surplus Boats – Albert Sailing Club wants to give Members and ASC Friends the opportunity to purchase surplus older boats currently racked at the Club before we advertise more widely . There is a wooden Impulse, Mirror and Sabot, and a full rig fibreglass Laser. All for sale at a good low price. Contact Graeme Blunt for details on 0417311295 or speak to him at the club on saturday morning.
