The next Albert Sailing Club sailing day is on saturday 19th March with a Summer Series Race at 2.30. The Trivia Night scheduled for 19 March has been postponed to a date to be advised later in the year. On the March long weekend we have a number of members involved in State Championship events incluing : Impulses at Somers on Westernport ; Optimists at Sandringham, and the Yarrawonga Regatta where our Commodore Cindy is the Race Officer. The Autumn edition of our Mudpuddler club newsletter is to be released in early April. We are looking for articles, photos and other items of interest based on activities in the last 3 months or so. Consider what you could contribute, and send items by Monday 21st March to Rod via training@albertsc.org.au for forwarding on to our Newsletter editor Maddy. For people looking for a maritime related event over the March long weekend the bi-ennial Geelong Wooden Boat Festival is on this weekend. There are some Tall Ships including Melbourne’s own Enterprize, classic wooden boat displays and Sail Past, and entertainment including the Navy Band on the saturday.
