The Winter Season is now well underway. Saturday 24th there is Winter Handicap Series from 2pm with Sign On and Information Session at 1.15 in front of APYC clubrooms. At lunchtime there will be a free club BBQ amd after post race snacks for our club members to recognise their efforts as volunteers at our club as part of the Australian National Volunteers week.
On sunday 25th 1 to 4pm there is another of the big VIODA Optimist Winter Coaching program sessions and a training session for a group of teenage Laser sailors.
The Lake water level is still down and just a little up from the 17 May level. We will continue to review weekly and advise on any program changes.
Upcoming Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June Albert Sailing Club’s “Top of the Lake” Regatta for dinghy sailing classes is programmed. The holding of the Regatta is subject to improvement in the Lake Water level, with a decision to be made in the next couple of weeks. Regatta preparations are underway and we are seeking volunteers to assist on the Regatta weekend. If you can do one or both days send an email to Cindy via admin@albertsc.org.au
