Albert Sailing Club has a Working Bee for Members on Saturday 3rd January, then resumes our Summer sailing season from Saturday 10th January.
For club members who are in Melbourne and can spare a few hours on 3 January the Working Bee is from 9.30 into the afternoon. The To Do list including cleaning and maintenance in the Club Boatyard; pressure cleaning of walls and decking areas, some varnishing and painting in our changerooms and usual tidying activities. Option for casual sailing in the afternoon or those with their own boat. BYO lunch if staying over the lunchtime period.
On the 10th the club has Week 1 of the 2 Week Commodore Short Race Series sailed on Saturdays across January. Two or three short races from 2.30pm each week The Club Galley crew takes a break on the early to mid January sailing days.
