Australia Day Greetings. On the 28/29 Jan weekend there is no club sailing on the saturday. Social sailing on sunday with the club open 10am to at least 3pm and members, friends and visitors welcome. Social sailing also Wednesday 1 February, with club open from 12.30pm. Upcoming – The Learn to Sail program on weekends across February commences on Sunday 5 February. Sign up at the club on sunday 29th or send an email to training@albertsc.org.au. Also “green fleet” program on Saturdays from 11 February for juniors with own boat or hire of club Ozi Opti. On Saturday 4th February is the Annual Top of the Bay Regatta at Elwood Sailing club. Dinghy clubs at top end of Port Phillip, including Albert Park Lake participate. 60 – 100 boats expected depending on conditions, including from ASC. (Further details will be placed on www.albertsc.org.au or email sailing@albertsc.org.au) 1pm Briefing for 2pm start and no entry fee applies. No ASC club racing on 4th but highly likely to be some sailing on Albert Park Lake. On Friday 3 February the Women & Girls Group from Australian Sailing will be at ASC from around 5.30 for a sail, food and drinks, with ASC women & Girls invited and most welcome.

ASC’s summer club racing resumes on 11 February from 2.30, with club races each Saturday up to the March long weekend.
