Saturday 16th. Club open from 10.30 with Spring Season Club Race from 2.30 and Information Session upstairs at ASC at 1.15. Sunday 17th week 2 of our Spring Learn to Sail course 9.30 to 4.30. Week one on sunday 10th went well, and we welcomed 8 new adult members to the club and sailing on Albert Park Lake. SAVE THE DATE for FESTIVE SEASON FUNCTION SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER, ASC’s annual Festive Season function will be held this year on Saturday December 14th. The format/food will follow previous years’ popular events, so lock this date into your diary now. Further information and the link for booking will be provided over the next few weeks.

The group meets mid morning to mid afternoon on the first sunday of each month on the foreshore in front of the Albert Sailing Club where they display boats and undertake on water exercises. The fleet consists of a mixture of working models and those under construction including: destroyers, frigates, corvettes and submarines as well as support craft, ocean going tugs and coastguard vessels. One of Task Force 72’s oganisers, Haig is a member of Albert Sailing Club and enjoys sharing the ambience of the area in front of Albert Sailing Club for the Group’s activities.
