This Saturday 18th of April the Summer Handicap Series re-sail of race 3 commences in the afternoon with sign on and briefing at APYC at 1:15pm with racing now starting at 2:00pm.
There will be a BBQ at ASC after the race with drinks available.

No programmed sailing next weekend due to ANZAC Day.
Our Winter Season will start with the Autumn Series in May and June commencing on Saturday 02/05, with 2 races each week starting at 2pm.
For sailors from other clubs who want to join as a Winter Associate Member, details and registration link can be found on the ASC website.

ASC’s Annual General Meeting is 09/05. Nominations for 2025/26 general committee and interest in, “on” or “off” water non committee roles are being sought.
The next Learn to Sail course starts on the 2nd of May, the course is open and has places available, please contact Geoff via training@albertsc.org.au if you have any questions.

Motion for the AGM on 9th May:
Club membership fees.In 2024-25 and 2025-26 Albert Sailing Club’s membership fees have been higher than APYC’s fees in four out of the five common membership categories. I propose that to become competitive with APYC in attracting new members that Albert Sailing Club’s fees be amended to match APYC’s fees and that this occur following the AGM. I also propose that after the fees have been matched that Albert Sailing Club’s fees not be increased for 2026-27. Geoff Saliba
