It is with great sadness that I send this special Snippets
to advise you of the peaceful passing away of Sandy Smith on Jan 23rd
at the Epworth Hospital.
Sandy is the wife of John Smith, former Commodore of the Albert Sailing Club. Sandy and John were active club members for many years and will be remembered fondly by their former Mirror sailing companions and many of our other sailors and club members.
A gathering to remember Sandy’s life will be held this
Thursday 30th January 2020 at 11 a.m., Chateau Wyuna, 170 Swansea
Road, Mount Evelyn. Parking is
available. All are welcome to join John
and the family immediately afterwards for a drink at the same location to bid a
final ‘Cheers’ to Sandy.
At the wishes of the Family, should you wish to offer an
expression of love, memory cards and donation envelopes to NFP Eastern
Palliative Care will be available at the service in lieu of flowers.
Sandy will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with John,
Peta and Craig at this time.
