The 2019 ASC winter season which runs to September is due to commence on 4 May. Due to the low water level in Albert Park Lake it is likely that the season commencement will be postponed and the website link for winter visitor registration will continue to be held back until we have some decent rains and the lake level returns to a reasonable level. Updates will be provided on the club website and Snippets.
On 4th May we have a Junior Orientation Session for ASC juniors and parents in our clubrooms and on the foreshore from 10am to 12 noon followed by a Sausage Sizzle. On water activity is likely to be curtailed by the low lake water level situation.
On saturday 11th May the ASC Annual General Meeting is at 5.30pm. Signed nomination forms for 2019/20 general committee are required by 5pm on the 4th May. Our club secretary, assistant secretary and a number of committee members are not re-nominating and nominations for these roles are needed. Speak to a current club committee member if you could assist and need further information. All members are encouraged to attend the AGM to hear key reports and vote on committee nominations and the constitutional changes which have been emailed out with the AGM notice,
The AGM is followed by an informal Pizza and Pasta meal and the inaugural ASC Talent Night, Members, families and friends are encouraged to register your attendance for the Talent Night and hopefully a Talent Act via link on www.albertsc.org.au. The AGM will be preceded by a short presentation of trophies for 2018/19 spring and summer.
