On Saturday 6th July we have a club race with Division starts from 2pm. There will be an informal members meeting at 11.30 where flag officers will give a brief update on current club activities and provide opportunity for question and answer.
We are also reintroducing short ‘green fleet’ divisions on Saturday afternoon club races for members with little or no experience in sailing races. Sail your own boat or a club training boat. Anyone interested should meet upstairs at western end of clubrooms at 12.15. Envisage a start for an ASC/APYC adult green fleet grouping from approximately 2.10, followed by a start for an ASC junior “green fleet” group.
BBQ on club decking after racing on Saturday, with drinks including ‘hot toddys” from Doug’s Bar. At lunchtime bring your own lunch or try food from the club galley including Sue’s hot soup.
No club events for weekend of 13/14 July, with APYC junior Training Regatta on the Lake. Club race program returns on Saturday 20th July. ASC general committee meeting at 7.30pm in ASC clubrooms on Thursday 11th.

During the last week we have had significant maintenance and upgrades for our club security and hot water services. Thanks to Steve Lincoln and Don McKenzie who were involved in organising and supervising the work.
The Albert Park Yacht Club has a Christmas in July function on the evening of Saturday 27th July with a meal, and some trivia. See the poster on the upstairs club noticeboard or speak to Rod Thomas if you are interested.
