Our ASC Summer series re-commences on Saturday 2nd April with Summer Series 6 at 2.30, with club open by 10am. On sunday 3rd we have a social sailing day from 10am to mid afternoon, with assistance from some experienced club members appreciated as always. Club training boats will be available for use both days, subject to weather and a club flag officer approval. Also a ‘green fleet’ session from 10am to 12 noon for adults and juniors with club Instructors on hand.
At 3am on Sunday 3rd the Summer Daylight Saving period finishes and clocks are turned back an hour. One consequence for those who race at ASC is that the star time for all club Saturday races from 9 April to 1 October changes to 2pm, with information session at 1.15pm.
The next ASC Mudpuddler Newsletter has been compiled. It will be available online, and collected on Saturday for those down at the club, otherwise posted Monday. In it you will find Notice of a Special Meeting of Members at 11.30am on Saturday 9 April to discuss the club and its operations in the 2016/17 club year and beyond. Also notice of Annual General Meeting/ Season Trophy Presentations and Social Evening on Saturday 9 May. We are seeking a good turnout of experienced and newer members to both.
