On Saturday 2 July we need a few people to assist with maintenance of outside decking on first floor of clubhouse (removing some planks, screwing down some new ones, pressure washing of decking, and if weather suitable application of deck coating), and a couple of other small tasks. Also need someone to collect some 5.5 metre timber lengths from a Bunnings during coming week or so and deliver to club on or before 2 July. If you can help with work from 9.30am on 2 July or with pickup of planks speak to Don McKenzie or send him an email via sailing@albertsc.org.au

The club held another successful annual Regatta on the weekend of 18 and 19 July. With light winds all weekend two short races were sailed on Saturday and two on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to all of the club members who volunteered and helped out at the Regatta lead by Steve Dunn our Rear Commodore.

There are a range of high quality photos from Day one of the Regatta on our club Facebook. Coming soon is a special opportunity for Winter Regatta Participants. Participants who stayed on for Day 2 will have the unique opportunity to purchase a memento of the event. Photographer, Kathryn van der Mei has a large selection of high quality images available for purchase. Images will be professionally printed and presented in a presentation folder. Prices start at $12.00 for a 5″x7″ and go up from there. Canvas prints and framed prints available by special request.

Proceeds from the sale of photos will be going towards the purchase and upgrade of health and safety equipment for the Club. Stayed tuned to our Facebook page and the post-regatta edition of the Mudpuddler for further details on ordering and selecting your prints.
