This Saturday 14th March – ASC/APYC Short Course Racing from 2.30pm. Sign on at APYC at 1.45pm. There will be no club galley this week, however Doug’s Bar will be open for refreshments after sailing.
Better Sailing training session in the morning. Geoff will be at the club from 10.00am.Starting with a short theory session then on the water until noon followed by a debrief over lunch. This will be the first Better Sailing session for the 4 new club members who completed the February Start Sailing course.
The lake water level has risen a few centimetres with some rain in the last few weeks. We will still be sailing with partially raised centreboards whilst we wait for some more significant rainfall.
Upcoming Events:
– The Summer Series program resumes on Saturday 21st March with Summer Championship Heat 6.
– Learn to Sail with Albert Sailing Club: Our Adult Learn to Sail courses are free to new club members, a Family membership covers two adults in the Learn to Sail program.
Next course starts 21st March to the 18th April. These are Saturday afternoon sessions 12pm – 3pm. For more information please contact Geoff via training@albertsc.org.au.

– Reminder, most of Albert Park Reserve is closed to the public, with pedestrian access to the sailing precinct via a pathway from Grand Prix gate off the Albert Road service road at the end of Moray Street. No vehicle access to Aquatic Drive behind the sailing clubs. There is parking on Albert Road Service Road near the pedestrian access gate. Access resumes Monday 16th March.
